A family business started in 1947 by Eng. Samy Riad. It was established as Fabrique de Flanelles Samir in 1947 focusing on the production of knitted fabric and ready made garments for export. This was the foundation of what is now the Riad Group, a vertically integrated textile group of companies.

Riad Group is a vertical organization, which includes knitting, dyeing, printing, embroidery, cutting and sewing facilities. Only the best quality yarns and dyestuffs are used sourced from the most prominent suppliers worldwide.
Employing more than 4,000 high quality staff, recruitment programs in Riad Group the group attract both skilled and unskilled labor due to the intensive training programs taking place in the in house training centres. In knits, we produce T-shirts, polo shirts, underwear, pyjamas, shorts and sweat shirts. Sportswear, beachwear and casualwear are available in both knits and woven. We produce different style, color, size and specification as required by customers.

We were the first exporters in this sector in Egypt and have been recognized for the export of quality products since our establishment as Fabrique de Flanelles Samir in 1947. The Riad Group produces solely for export to Europe and United Sates. We produce for leading international brand names and for major department stores throughout the world.
The Group employs over 4000 people. We are proud of our high quality staff, many of whom have been with us for over 20 years. Our recruitment program is constantly attracting the most able workers who are given intensive training at a specialized in-house raining center. Furthermore, there is a constant process of updating existing worker skills. We employ a number of European staff in the areas of quality control & training to ensure that our product quality is constantly in line with world standards.
